La Prairie’s iconic Skin Caviar Luxe Cream is getting a major makeover. The Swiss luxury skincare brand launched a reformulated version of its beloved face cream on September 1, with a new innovation it’s calling Caviar Micro-Nutrients. With over 300 natural ingredients, Caviar Micro-Nutrients generously stimulate the skin’s metabolic activities. With consistent use, the brand claims it can improve the architecture of your skin, resulting in a firmer, more youthful appearance—and significantly improved signs of aging.
As if the cream wasn’t already top-shelf in terms of its anti-aging prowess, this new formulation tethers those Caviar Micro-Nutrients with another La Prairie innovation: Caviar Premier.
“Caviar Premier was designed as a mimetic fingerprint of natural caviar’s chemical composition,” says Daniel Stangl, M.D., La Prairie’s director of innovation. “These two active ingredients have been designed by La Prairie scientists to work in synergy. Caviar Premier prompts cells to rebuild skin’s structural elements by providing signaling molecules, while Caviar Micro-Nutrients supply cells with the energy and building blocks needed to synthesize these structural elements, to ultimately lift and firm the skin.”
The breakthrough advancement is available in two formulations: Skin Caviar Luxe Cream and Skin Caviar Luxe Cream Sheer, both of which lift, firm, deeply nourish, and smooth the skin.

To commemorate the cream’s 25th anniversary, La Prairie teamed up with Dutch artist Sabine Marcelis to create a limited-edition vanity set made from quartzite and cobalt blue resin.
